Helpdesk bridge (Freshdesk, Zendesk…)

New conversations open a ticket in your helpdesk; the ticket link comes back as an internal note.

Goal: Your support team works in the helpdesk they know, with nothing lost in between.

What starts it

Our webhook events

Subscribe to conversation events; your receiver creates or updates tickets.

Your values

Your https endpoint that talks to the helpdesk.

From the `conversation.created` event (`data.id`). (from the conversation.created/1 event)

The ticket your helpdesk created.

Test mode (dry run): every step runs on your account, but nothing changes and nothing is sent.

  1. Step 1

    Receive conversation events

    POSTCreate an endpoint

    curl -X POST 'https://mcp.wa-api.cloud/v1/webhooks/endpoints' \
      -H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" \
      -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
      -H 'Idempotency-Key: helpdesk-endpoint' \
      -d '{
      "url": "https://hooks.example.com/helpdesk",
      "event_type_ids": [
        "conversation.created/1",
        "conversation.assigned/1",
        "conversation.closed/1"
      ],
      "description": "Helpdesk bridge"
    }'

    Passes on: endpoint_id (from endpoint.id)

  2. Step 2

    Post the ticket link back as a note

    POSTAdd an internal note

    Notes are internal. The customer never sees them.

    curl -X POST 'https://mcp.wa-api.cloud/v1/conversations/77410/notes' \
      -H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" \
      -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
      -d '{
      "text": "Ticket opened: https://help.example.com/tickets/4411"
    }'

    Passes on: note_id (from note_id)
